Important Cities :-

Delhi :-
Delhi is the capital city of India. This city is also one of the ancient cities in the world, characterized by its historical monuments, forts and buildings. It is also the home of many government agencies, including the Parliament of India, making it the political hub of India.



Mumbai :-
The capital of Maharashtra state, is the biggest financial center in India. It is the home of Bollywood,huge studio, producing largest number of movies annually. It is also home to Reserve Bank of India. The headquarters of many multinational companies are located in Mumbai, making it the center of attraction for business and entertainment. It is also home to 28 billionaires and is ranked 6th among top 10 cities with most billionaires.



Kolkata :-
The capital of West Bengal and the Ex-Capital of India, is a major port city and commercial hub of North-East India.Some global companies with headquarters in Kolkata are ITC limited, Allahabad bank and UCO bank.


Bengaluru :-
The capital of Karnataka is home to some of the biggest IT firms. This city also known as the 'Silicon Valley' of India. Bengaluru contributes to more than 35% of India's IT exports. It houses some major manufacturing industries like Bharat Electricals, Bharat Earth Movers etc. Infosys and Wipro have their headquarters in Bengaluru.


Chennai : -
The capital of Tamil Nadu is known for its automobile industries and has earned itself the name 'Detroit of India'. It is also known for its financial services, health care, software services and hardware manufacturing. 


Hyderabad :-
This city is known as the 'City of Pearls' for its famous trading center of pearls. Hyderabad contributes to one-third of India's drugs and 16% of biotechnology products which has earned it the name 'India's Pharmaceutical Capital'.


Ahmedabad :-
The largest city in Gujarat is the largest supplier of Denim and also the largest exporter of gems and jewelry. Adani Group, Nirma, Arvind Mills, Cadila and Torrent Pharmaceuticals are major companies with their base in this city. Ahmedabad is rapidly emerging as a financial hub in western India.


Pune :-
The second largest city of Maharashtra is well known for its automobile industries and educational institutions. Automobile manufacturers like Volkswagen, Tata Motors, Mercedes Benz, Renault and others have their presence in the city.


Surat :-
Surat is known as the Diamond Hub of the world. Almost 90% of the total diamonds in the world are cut and polished in Surat. It is also a major textile player, having more than 380 dyeing and printing mills and around 41000 power looms. 40% of India's artificial fabric comes from Surat.


Vishakhapatnam :-
The port city of Andhra Pradesh houses heavy industries like GAIL, Hindustan Shipyard and Vishakhapatnam Steel Plants among others. The city also has presence of software, textile, drugs and pharmaceuticals industries.
